Welcome to Zen Resort, where the rainforest meets the beach on beautiful Playa Chiquita! The Zen Resort is just a 200 meter walk from the ocean and right in the heart of Playa Chiquita. There are restaurants just steps from the property so there is no need to drive. This exotic tropical villa is located in lush, enclosed gardens next to one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Our location is perfect for guests who love the beach and want the complete convenience of restaurants and a great grocery store just steps away. The Zen Resort is custom made and professionally decorated. The large house, Zen Villa, has sliding French doors in the living room and bedrooms that open to a covered patio that brings in the tropics. There is a covered outdoor living room giving you the option of lounging or dining alfresco. Monkeys, sloths, toucans and parrots are frequent visitors to the gardens. There is a beautiful open-air Bali style bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom and a separate full bathroom and second shower. The master bedroom has a king bed and sliding doors that open to the pool area. The second and third bedrooms have queen beds and share a huge bathroom with shower. All bedrooms have air conditioning units for a restful sleep. If you are looking for a luxury house for rent in Costa Rica that is private, beautiful and luxurious, the Zen house is the right choice for you. Zen Resort has two additional villas that have their own infinity pool, kitchen and a huge luxury bathroom. Each villa (Bodhi and Nirvana) has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a loft in one of the rooms.
The Villas and the Zen House can be rented individually or all together and have 7 rooms. It's the perfect place for large groups, family trips, couples trips and more! With an almost unlimited variety of activities available including world-class surfing, yoga, fishing, horseback riding, sailing, snorkeling and tropical adventures, everyone will have a fun time.

At the centre of the retreat is a stunning main house designed as a Mermaid yoga, dance, and gathering space, featuring a two-storey vaulted ceiling and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. This open-plan area is flooded with natural light and connects guests with the tropical landscape even indoors, making it an ideal space for yoga, meditation, and workshops.
We can host up to a maximum of 18 guests, with a maximum of 15 beds, offering a balance of privacy and community with three secluded bungalows and a main house, totalling 8 rooms.
Each room has been newly renovated with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, air conditioning, and private access, allowing guests to unwind in a personal sanctuary.
Spacious wooden decks and a beautiful pool provide outdoor spaces for yoga, relaxation, or swimming amid lush greenery.
